We are looking for a result-driven Retail Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales.

★ Retail Sales Associate

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing a shopping experience that will make the customer feel welcome and comfortable through outstanding customer service, meeting hourly sales and loyalty goals on a personal and departmental basis, and demonstrating superior product knowledge to customers.

★ Sales Associate Responsibilities

○ Acknowledging customers in a friendly and helpful manner within 30 seconds of their entry into the store.
○ Demonstrating knowledge of store products and services to build sales and minimize returns.
○ Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
○ Achieving established goals.
○ Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
○ Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
○ Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
○ Handling returns of merchandise.
○ Inviting customers to come back and thank them by name whenever possible.
○ Complying with inventory control procedures.

★ Sales Associate Requirements

○ An Associate’s degree or high school diploma;BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus.
○ Retail sales experience.
○ A professional appearance.
○ Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
○ The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
○ The ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.
○ The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
○ The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
